Oh, happy day

My daughter's loser boyfriend broke up with her last night. I know she is hurting right now, but in time she will realize it is for the best. His reason, she spends too much time on homework and lets others influence her. What is he doing but influencing her.

Progress

Finally getting the house packed. Today however, I have to take my mother shopping. She has severe ostoarthritis and it makes it very hard to get around. She doesn't drive anymore so someone has to take her.

Here it is a new day and a new set of problems. My 19 year old daughter is involved with a young man who is systematically changing her and steering her away from her family and friends. I have been trying to tell her what he is doing, but she won't listen. She tells me I don't know what I am talking about. The problem is I do know, because I was in the same situation at her age. Others that have been in this type of situation have talked to her. She won't listen. I hate for her to find out the hard way.

This problem has affected my stitching. I haven't gotten much done recently. However whenever I can get to stitching is calms me, as does my gardening. I call it my therapy.

My husband has accepted a job in Nebraska and now I have to pack up the house and move. My daughter is going to a community college here in Texas and does not want to move with us. She is currently living at home. I am afraid she will move in with this boyfriend. This issue is making it very hard to move. She does have an older brother that will check on her.
